About the work unit / facility:
Prisoner Health Service operates between the Townsville Men's Correctional Centre (TCC) and Townsville Women's Correctional Centre (TWCC). The service provides primary health care to the patients within the Prisoner setting.

- Salary range: $87,368 to $112,064 p.a. (NG5)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
With a mix of shift lengths up to 12-hour in duration, this role offers a great work life balance opportunity for a condensed working week, where full time hours can be worked usually between 6-8 day days (Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health and Department of Education) Certified Agreement (EB11) 2022 Clause19.2 (d as rostered in the unit roster.
The registered nurse will be responsible for contributing to improving patient outcomes within the Townsville Correctional Centre.
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable)
- Possession of class C drivers' licence.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted including Queensland Corrective Services CHC.
