Your new role:
As a Senior Dietitian Assistant, you'll work closely with dietitians, allied health professionals, food services and multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient nutrition and wellbeing. This rewarding role combines advanced clinical assistance, patient education, leadership and service improvement, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes every day.
- Provide dietary education to individuals and patient groups.
- Support patients to meet prescribed therapeutic diets and meal plans.
- Assist with the management of clinical equipment and feeding devices.
- Coordinate day-to-day workloads for Dietitian Assistants.
About you:
You are a compassionate and motivated professional who enjoys working collaboratively and supporting patients to achieve the best possible nutrition outcomes. You thrive in a team environment, have strong organisational skills, and are passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare services.
- Experience working as a Dietitian Assistant, ideally with geriatric clients.
- Ability to educate and engage diverse patient groups.
- Strong organisational and workload management skills.
- Experience mentoring and supporting colleagues or students.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
