About the role
This key role is responsible for the coordination, management and optimisation of outpatient clinic schedules and templates, ensuring efficient service delivery and improved patient access to care. Working closely with clinical and administrative stakeholders, you will help drive performance, service improvement and operational excellence across Ambulatory and Outpatient Services.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Coordinate and manage the Ambulatory and Outpatient Services clinic templates, and schedules across Redcliffe Hospital, in collaboration with clinical and non-clinical staff to optimise clinic utilisation and support patient-focussed services.
- Collaborate effectively with Health Information Management Services (HIMS), Clinical Directors, Medical staff, Nursing and Midwifery staff, Administration, Business Practice Improvement Officer (BPIO) and Allied Health professionals, facilitating a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care.
- Provide administrative direction and guidance on the development of improved booking systems and assist with the introduction of efficient administrative processes based on integrated management information systems.
- Develop and regularly review of Ambulatory and Outpatient Services business rules and procedures as relevant to the role.
