What you'll do
As a Principal Project Officer, you will work in partnership with clinical and system stakeholders to support the local implementation of training initiatives aligned to service needs across Queensland. You will coordinate participant registration, evaluation activities and data collection processes in collaboration with project partners and research teams, while monitoring project progress, milestones and key performance indicators to ensure delivery in line with NIISQ funding requirements. The role is responsible for preparing high-level reports, briefings and project documentation to support governance and reporting obligations, as well as contributing to the development of education resources, including online and video-based learning materials. Working collaboratively within the Healthcare Improvement Unit, you will apply sound project management principles to manage timelines, risks and competing priorities across multiple sites, while using your highly developed consultation, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills to build productive relationships and support the delivery of strategic healthcare improvement initiatives.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Demonstrated experience coordinating complex projects or programs within a healthcare or system improvement environment
- Proven ability to organise and deliver initiatives across multiple stakeholders and geographically dispersed sites
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Experience in managing data collection, evaluation processes or reporting requirements
- Highly developed organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience in emergency, trauma, surgical, intensive care or acute healthcare environments will be highly regarded
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to deliver outcomes
