About the role
As Team Leader of the QuEDS Treatment Service, you will provide leadership and oversight of a statewide treatment program that delivers specialised individual and group interventions for people experiencing eating disorders. You will balance strategic planning, workforce leadership and advanced clinical practice while driving service improvement, innovation, research and quality initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to influence statewide service delivery and contribute to the ongoing development of best practice eating disorder treatment across Queensland.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide strategic direction and operational management of the QuEDS Treatment Service in line with organisational, state-wide, and national priorities and plans in collaboration with lead Psychiatrists and senior clinical staff.
- Provide clinical and operational leadership to the QuEDS Treatment Service, ensuring high-quality care and contributing to the development of innovative, evidence-based practices, procedures, and protocols that support the continuum of care and improve consumer outcomes.
- Develop, deliver, and lead advanced clinical services based on valid and reliable evidence (including individual and group based therapeutic programs) within QuEDS in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, with a high degree of independence, to ensure consumer focused outcomes.
- Facilitate and promote effective communication and engagement across the service, advocating for consumer, family, and carer identified needs and fostering collaborative partnerships with consumers, carers, community service providers, and Non-Government Organisations.
- Proactively manage labour and non-labour expenditure, ensuring financial resources are used efficiently to deliver services within budget.
