Your new role:

As the Senior Occupational Therapist within Logan MIRT, you'll provide advanced occupational therapy services to patients with complex rehabilitation needs while supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care. You'll work collaboratively within an experienced multidisciplinary team, contribute to service development, and provide leadership through supervision and education.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver advanced occupational therapy assessment, intervention and rehabilitation in a community-based multidisciplinary setting.
  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision and support to HP3 clinicians, Allied Health Assistants and students.
  • Lead and contribute to quality improvement, service development and evidence-based clinical practice initiatives.
  • Build strong partnerships with patients, carers and community services to achieve positive rehabilitation outcomes.

About you:

You're an experienced Occupational Therapist who enjoys working in a collaborative rehabilitation environment and is passionate about improving patient outcomes through evidence-based care.

You will bring

  • Extensive experience delivering advanced occupational therapy services within rehabilitation or complex clinical settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including supervision, mentoring and clinical education of junior staff and students.
  • A commitment to quality improvement, service innovation and delivering compassionate, patient-centred care.
