Your new role:

As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you'll play a vital role in providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for consumers experiencing crisis. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you'll support timely assessments, care planning and safe recovery-focused interventions while contributing to service excellence.

In this role you will:

  • Deliver high-quality mental health triage, assessment and therapeutic interventions in crisis settings.
  • Provide senior clinical leadership, supervision and support to clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants.
  • Collaborate with consumers, carers, emergency department staff and community partners to achieve positive recovery outcomes.
  • Lead and contribute to quality improvement, service development and evidence-based clinical practice.

About you:

You're an experienced Allied Health professional who thrives in fast-paced clinical environments and is passionate about delivering person-centred mental health care.

You'll bring:

  • Extensive experience providing mental health assessment, crisis intervention and recovery-oriented care.
  • Strong clinical judgement with the ability to prioritise complex presentations and make informed decisions independently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • A commitment to clinical leadership, mentoring staff and driving continuous service improvement.
