About the role

The Neuropsychologist Advanced Ambulatory Service delivers advanced neuropsychology services within the Complex Chronic Disease Team (CCDT), Geriatric Evaluation and Management in the Home (GEMITH) and the Healthy Ageing Assessment and Rehabilitation Team (HAART). Working across community and outpatient settings, the role provides specialised neuropsychological assessment and intervention for patients with complex chronic disease and age-related presentations, supporting high-quality multidisciplinary care.

The position provides clinical leadership for ambulatory neuropsychology services, including supervision and support of less experienced clinicians, service development, quality improvement and research activities. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes, contribute to contemporary neuropsychology practice and support the delivery of evidence-based care across face-to-face and telehealth service models.

About you

• Provide advanced neuropsychological assessment, clinical decision-making and evidence-based interventions for patients with complex chronic disease and age-related presentations across community and outpatient settings.
• Act as a clinical expert and professional resource for ambulatory neuropsychology services, providing guidance, mentoring and clinical supervision to neuropsychology clinicians and students.
• Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred care and provide specialist advice on neuropsychological assessment and management.
• Lead and contribute to research, quality improvement and service development initiatives that enhance neuropsychology services and patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills to support service excellence, professional standards and continuous improvement.
