In this role, you will lead statewide collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including First Nations stakeholders and Queensland Government agencies, to deliver evidence-based, client-centred public health solutions. You will oversee a dedicated team focused on strategic priorities such as health equity, communicable disease prevention, and preparedness for communicable disease incidents and threats.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-level leadership and strategic direction in public health policy.
- Building and maintaining effective partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
- Developing and implementing policies that address complex public health challenges and inequities.
- Delivering expert advice to influence statewide policy and innovative health interventions.
- Managing a team to foster continuous improvement, cultural awareness, and accountability.
