About the role:
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care across the preadmission, procedural, and recovery phases of cardiac procedures.
- Perform continuous hemodynamic and cardiac rhythm monitoring, ensuring accurate documentation and timely clinical escalation.
- Assist cardiologists during invasive procedures, maintaining strict aseptic techniques and radiation safety protocols.
- Administer cardiovascular medications and contrast agents safely in accordance with scope of practice and clinical guidelines.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedural expectations, post-care recovery, and ongoing cardiac health.
About you:
- You hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) via AHPRA.
- You bring a sound understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and the principles of infection prevention and radiation safety.
- You demonstrate accountability for your own competence, utilizing reflective practice to continuously enhance your clinical care.
- You possess strong collaborative skills, actively contributing to a positive team culture built on mutual respect and open communication.
- You are committed to quality processes, patient safety frameworks, and evidence-based clinical improvement.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $127,861 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $44.06 - $56.51 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
