Digital Metro North is seeking a permanent ieMR Provisioning and Administration Support Officer to support the provisioning of secure user access and the co-ordination of training programs for the integrated electronic Medical Records (ieMR) across Metro North Health. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong organisational and administrative skills, excellent customer service, and experience managing high-volume workloads while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting Metro North Health’s digital health services by ensuring staff are equipped with the access, training and support required to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality patient care.

Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with clinical leads and end users across Metro North Health to deliver the Digital Metro North Strategy 2018-32. The strategy aims to ultimately deliver an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North by 2032. Over the coming years, significant capital works are being undertaken, including hospital construction and refurbishment and the implementation of the ieMR Advanced solution across all Metro North facilities. Achieving the aims of the strategy requires a dedicated team with the knowledge, determination, and skills to deliver quality results.
About the Role
Reporting to the Health Information Management Service (HIMS) Lead Clinical Informatics Director, Digital Metro North (DMN) the ieMR Provisioning and Administration Support Officer role will support the provision of access to, and management of training for, the integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR) across Metro North Health.
- This role is full time with the standard hours of operation being 8:00am – 4:06pm, Monday to Friday.
- Flexible working arrangements such as variable working hours, working from home and flex accrual may be supported.
Key knowledge and experience
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Manage the scheduling and coordination of training programs and delivery in response to high volume intake periods and new upgrades
- Map the training plan and schedule and manage the availability of resources to meet business requirements
- Provision ieMR access for staff who have successfully completed the required ieMR training and have been deemed proficient, ensuring compliance with approved access governance, security requirements and organisational procedures.
- Deliver high-quality customer support by responding to ServiceNow (SNOW) requests for provisioning-related tickets that need to be resolved outside of the automated provisioning process
- Review and assess Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) applications, ensuring decisions are evidence-based, consistent and compliant with organisational requirements.
- Escalate integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR) provisioning issues to eHealth for resolution as required
- Liaise with the business and provide advice on appropriate training pathways for Allied Health, Medical Officers, Nursing & Midwifery and Administration Officer streams
- Manage the communication and promotion of the training schedule and training pathways to key stakeholders
