LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION TEACHER – TAFE QUEENSLAND GOLD COAST

We are seeking a Full-Time Landscape Construction Teacher to join our Ashmore campus until 25 June 2027. Bring your industry expertise into a dynamic teaching environment where you’ll shape future landscapers, stay connected to industry, and contribute to high-quality vocational education.

What You'll do
- Deliver outcome-focused vocational education and training aligned to national training packages
- Lead engaging teaching and learning across classroom, practical, workplace and online environments
- Design and implement industry-relevant assessment tools and practices
- Support student progression through feedback, mentoring and inclusive teaching approaches
- Maintain currency in landscape construction industry practices and teaching methodologies
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality assurance activities
- Promote safe work practices, sustainability and positive learning environments
- Build strong relationships with students, industry and stakeholders

What You'll Need (Mandatory Qualifications / Requirements)
- Certificate III in Landscape Construction (AHC30921) or equivalent/higher.
- TAE40122 / TAE40116 / TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
- Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or Training Design and Development; or
- Higher-level adult education qualification approved by TAFE Queensland.
- Current industry skills directly relevant to landscape construction.
