The Operational Services Officer performs a range of tasks, such as porterage and catering, cleaning, and laundry, courier, and ground maintenance. The Operational Services Officer will perform high quality activities by using local procedures to meet recognised standards. This role supports the clinical staff by cleaning the wards and clinical areas, assisting patients, along with servicing non-clinical areas (offices/hallways), including staff accommodation. The position is part of a dynamic team that is rostered 24-hours 7-days a week and is suitable for those wanting to work in a cooperative team, able to communicate with all staff members, and open to learning. This position is based at Bamaga Hospital.
