The Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) offers a specialised mental health service for families with children and young people (birth to 18 years) who experience severe and complex mental health problems, and where their needs cannot be met by other services.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $144,991 to $151,289 p.a. (HP5)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
- To lead and coordinate the provision of specialised child and youth mental health acute response pathways within CYMHS.
- Provide expert clinical leadership to clinicians working within the CYMHS acute response pathway.
- Provide clinical expertise, supervision and leadership to other members of the team and carry a small clinical caseload.
Applications are being sought from Nursing and Allied Health Professionals, including those with qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Speech Pathology and Social Work.
All employees of the Mental Health Service Group may be required to work in other areas of the service.
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications (Nursing or Allied Health) and proof of registration (if applicable).
- Possession of class C drivers' licence.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted, including Blue Card Checks.
