Your new role:

Join Princess Alexandra Hospital as an Injury Management Consultant, where you'll partner with leaders, employees and healthcare providers to deliver expert injury and rehabilitation management services. You'll coordinate complex return-to-work programs, provide strategic advice, analyse injury trends, influence workplace injury prevention initiatives and help create safer, healthier workplaces. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on employee wellbeing while driving improved organisational outcomes through proactive case management, stakeholder engagement and evidence-based rehabilitation strategies.

About you:

You are a proactive and solutions-focused injury management professional who is passionate about supporting people through recovery while partnering with leaders to achieve safe, sustainable return-to-work outcomes. You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex workplace injury and rehabilitation cases from early intervention through to successful return to work.
  • Strong knowledge of workers' compensation, rehabilitation and workplace health and safety legislation, with the ability to apply policy and best practice.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence managers, clinicians and external providers.
  • Proven ability to analyse injury trends, develop practical risk mitigation strategies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Highly organised and resilient, with excellent case management, problem-solving and relationship-building skills in a complex healthcare environment.

The team provides advice and solutions in industrial and employee relations, performance and change management, workplace rehabilitation, return-to-work coordination, injury management, employment flexibility, equity, and enterprise bargaining to foster a safe, inclusive and high-performing workplace.
