Working alongside multidisciplinary teams and food services, the unit provides personalised nutrition care, home enteral nutrition support, and high-quality patient-centred services across CQ. About the role:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for Nutrition and Dietetics services across Central Queensland, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, evidence-based and patient-centred care while guiding the future direction of the profession.
- Lead and empower the Nutrition and Dietetics workforce through professional and clinical governance, mentoring, workforce planning and capability development, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous learning.
- Drive innovation and service excellence through strategic planning, quality and safety initiatives, research, evaluation and the development of contemporary models of care that improve patient outcomes and service effectiveness.
- Build and strengthen partnerships across multidisciplinary teams, health services and community organisations while providing financial stewardship, resource management and professional advocacy to ensure sustainable, responsive services.
About you:
- You are a qualified Dietitian, holding a Degree and/or Postgraduate qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognised tertiary institution, with eligibility for Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status. While not mandatory, a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field will be highly regarded.
- You bring advanced clinical expertise in Nutrition and Dietetics, using evidence-based practice and sound clinical judgement to lead complex care, support best practice and achieve high-quality patient outcomes.
- You are an experienced leader with a proven ability to provide strategic, operational, financial and workforce management, building capable teams while fostering a positive culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- You are a confident communicator and relationship builder, skilled in stakeholder engagement, advocacy, service planning and quality improvement, with the ability to influence change and drive innovation across multidisciplinary healthcare services.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $172,615 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $73.12 - $76.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
