About the job
In this advanced practice role, you will use your clinical expertise, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to optimise Emergency Department clinical coding and data quality, ensuring accurate information supports patient care, service planning, research, operational performance, and Activity Based Funding (ABF). Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in transforming clinical data into meaningful insights that drive healthcare improvements, support innovation, and enhance outcomes for patients, clinicians, and the organisation.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated high level of clinical practice and expertise in an Emergency Department nursing within the current legislative and policy context.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead at a work unit/service area level and/or across professions to ensure effective service delivery and quality outcomes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply quality assurance processes including participation in ongoing professional development opportunities and clinical supervision.
- Proven ability in the application of highly developed interpersonal, problem solving, negotiation and communication skills
- Exemplifies the West Moreton Health Professional Practice Model by demonstrating person-centred care, professional excellence, safe and effective care delivery, commitment to quality and safety, and collaborative practice.
