About us:
Gladstone Hospital is home to around 400 dedicated staff providing acute, community, and primary healthcare services to the region. Our facilities include a 42-bed Medical and Surgical Ward, a High Dependency Unit, a busy outpatient service, and a newly opened Transit Lounge.
Our pharmacy team delivers patient-centred clinical and dispensing services across the hospital, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. With a diverse caseload, supportive colleagues, and opportunities to work across a range of clinical areas, every day offers something new.
About the role:
- Deliver clinical pharmacy services across a variety of hospital areas, including our new Transit Lounge.
- Complete medication histories, medication reconciliations, pharmaceutical care plans, and patient counselling to optimise patient care.
- Ensure safe and effective medication dispensing through prescription review, clinical validation, final checking, and accurate dispensing.
- Work closely with patients, carers, doctors, nurses, and community healthcare providers to support seamless transitions of care.
About you:
- A Degree in Pharmacy and eligibility for registration with AHPRA.
- Experience delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy and dispensing services (or the enthusiasm and capability to grow into the role).
- Strong clinical knowledge and the confidence to apply it to real-world patient care.
- A proactive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine desire to make a difference every day.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $43.97 - $58.59 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
