Your new role:

As the Advanced Pharmacist – Team Leader (Surgical & Critical Care), you'll provide advanced clinical pharmacy services while leading a multidisciplinary pharmacy team across Logan Hospital's Surgical and Critical Care service line. You'll champion evidence-based practice, service improvement, education and research to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead advanced clinical pharmacy services across Surgical and Critical Care.
  • Manage, mentor and develop pharmacists, interns, students and support staff.
  • Drive service improvement, clinical governance and evidence-based practice initiatives.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

About you:

You're an experienced clinical pharmacist and people leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while developing high-performing teams and advancing pharmacy practice.

Skills & Experience

  • AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist with advanced clinical pharmacy experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary pharmacy teams.
  • Strong clinical judgement with expertise in complex patient care and service improvement.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and change management skills.

Logan Hospital:

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
