About the role:

  • Provide safe, compassionate care during patient admission, procedural preparation, recovery, and discharge phases.
  • Assist with safe patient transfers, positioning, gowning, and obtaining baseline observations under professional supervision.
  • Manage specialized stock supplies, track inventory usage, and perform regular restocking to maintain emergency readiness.
  • Prepare, clean, and restock the clinical and non-clinical environments between procedures to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control standards, hospital policies, and unit radiation safety guidelines.

About you:

  • You possess a high level of service delivery, with a proven ability to build rapid rapport and show genuine empathy and compassion to patients.
  • You demonstrate a strong capability to learn clinical unit routines quickly while working flexibly and taking direction under the supervision of an RN.
  • You thrive as an active healthcare team member, contributing positively to a collaborative unit culture built on honesty and respect.
  • You hold basic knowledge of hospital quality and safety processes, showing a willingness to maintain a secure environment for patients and staff.
  • You bring an enthusiastic, proactive attitude to your daily duties, with a relevant Certificate III being highly regarded but not mandatory.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $86,824 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $35.05 - $38.37 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
