About us:

Join the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service team of over 6000 staff to deliver health services in Far North Queensland. We offer a range of medical, nursing and midwifery, administrative and support roles at Cairns and more than 30 regional, rural and remote facilities.

The Communications and Engagement Team is a dynamic and high-profile part of the Office of the Chief Executive, connecting communities, stakeholders and staff with the health matters that impact them most. We deliver strategic communications, media relations, digital and social media, internal communications, issues management and community engagement, helping to inform, inspire and strengthen relationships across our health service.

 

About you:

In your new role you will......

  • Produce innovative and creative communication solutions that demonstrate creativity in the design and execution of communication activities while also ensuring adherence to corporate style and brand guidelines.
  • Contribute to the team's management and delivery of communication channels, including events, media, social media, the intranet and other organisation-wide tools and feedback mechanisms.
  • Use high-level interpersonal, stakeholder engagement and communication skills to build and maintain productive relationships and to liaise and consult with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
