Retrieval Services Queensland is looking for a motivated Clinical Facilitator to join the team on a permanent part-time basis (0.8 FTE). 

What you'll do

As a Clinical Facilitator, you will play a key role in supporting clinical excellence through the delivery of education, workforce development, and evidence-based practice initiatives. You will work collaboratively to foster a positive practice environment that promotes staff engagement, learning, and professional growth, while integrating contemporary educational principles into clinical practice. In partnership with Nurse Educators and other Retrieval Services Queensland (RSQ) team members, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards that support clinical governance and continuous improvement. You will assess learning needs and assist in the design, delivery, and evaluation of educational programs that build capability across the clinical workforce, ensuring education remains aligned with current evidence and state-wide guidelines. Additionally, you will participate in quality improvement, evaluation, and research activities, while providing mentoring, guidance, and support to RSQ team members and clinical staff. Through your leadership, you will champion change initiatives, support staff through change processes, and contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.

About you

We are searching for someone who has:

  • proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Demonstrated recency of critical care knowledge and practice and extensive experience > than 5 years
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of the coordination of aeromedical retrieval and provision of telehealth to guide and coordinate care
  • While not mandatory, completion of a post graduate qualification in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing or Clinical Education is highly desirable
  • While not mandatory, experience working in rural and remote settings, retrieval nursing, or in an aeromedical field is highly desirable
