About the role

As the Clinical Nurse Consultant (Orthopaedics), you will provide advanced clinical leadership and specialist nursing expertise to support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred orthopaedic care across Redcliffe Hospital's Orthopaedic Service. Working within a nurse-led model of care, you will play a key role in the delivery of post-operative review clinics within the Specialist Outpatient Department, providing expert assessment, clinical decision-making, care coordination, and patient education for individuals recovering from orthopaedic procedures.

• Demonstrate advanced specialist knowledge, experience, and clinical skills in orthopaedics.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and reasoning, advanced problem-solving skills and expert clinical judgement in relation to Orthopaedics .
• Responsible for the professional development of self and others utilising contemporary practice in the delivery of improved standards of care.
• May work across professional and organisational boundaries to influence health service and/or professional outcomes in relation to area of expertise.
