Join Atherton Hospital, a modern regional facility delivering a broad range of services including emergency, general medical and surgical care, low-risk maternity, cancer care, renal dialysis, and High Dependency Unit services. Redeveloped in 2023, the hospital features 56 inpatient beds and provides vital healthcare and outreach services across the Atherton Tablelands and surrounding communities.

About your role: 

  • You are an experienced and confident Clinical Nurse with advanced clinical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. You thrive in fast-paced environments, deliver exceptional person-centred care, and build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • With a commitment to continuous learning, quality improvement, and clinical excellence, you champion safe, evidence-based practice and uphold the values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Integrity. You'll also play a key role in supporting staff development, maintaining clinical governance, and ensuring compliance with NSQHS standards and workplace safety requirements.
  • Apply contemporary human resource management principles to ensure that the unit working environment meets legislative standards and CHHHS policies and procedures
