About the role
The Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) Echocardiography/ Cardiac Imaging Fellowship is a temporary 12 month full time position that aims to provide opportunities for skill development in advanced cardiac imaging modalities and facilitate the transition from advanced trainee to consultant. The Fellow will be involved in transthoracic echo, stress echo, trans-oesophageal echo, and cardiac CT imaging services. Exposure to cardiac MRI is also available. Responsibilities will include list management, patient triage and preparation in addition to protocolling, performing and reporting the tests.

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

- Develop advanced cardiac imaging skills.
- Participate in and conduct research.
- Help to provide a cardiac imaging service to RBWH in-patients and out-patients, including independent performance of studies.
