About us:
Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers an area of 142,900 square kilometres. We go as far as Tully in the south, Cow Bay in the north and Croydon in the west.
The Strategy Planning and Infrastructure team leads service and infrastructure planning and oversees major capital projects across CHHHS. The team works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure planning aligns with models of care, workforce needs and government priorities. Its focus is on delivering sustainable infrastructure that supports safe, effective health services.
About you:
In your new role you will......
- Provide high quality, confidential administrative/executive support to the Executive Director Strategy Planning and Infrastructure in a mature and professional manner which ensures the integrity and efficiency of that office.
- Liaise with Queensland Health executives, government bodies and members of the public using discretion with sensitive and/or confidential matters and develop ongoing working relationships.
- Provide efficient secretariat and logistical support to committees, working groups and events/functions. This may include the coordination of meetings, preparation of agendas, completion and distribution of minutes, record keeping and organising catering.
- Undertake basic research, prepare, collate and format high-quality written correspondence. This may include correspondence such as letters, memorandums, emails, briefing notes, business cases, PowerPoint presentations and financial reports utilising appropriate corporate templates and within the necessary timeframe.
