About your opportunity
In this role you will:
- Lead and manage the delivery of small to large scale capital works projects within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (Townsville HHS) project management methodology.
- Effectively manage the engagement and performance of project consultants and contractors to enable delivery of an on time, on budget quality project.
- Ensure project outcomes are achieved, and project management capability is maintained by leading a multidisciplinary team within a complex health environment.
PLEASE NOTE - This is a temporary full-time role, up to 12/12/2027.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $5370.60 - $5763.70 p.f. (AO7)
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
- Locality allowance
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements:
- AQF Level 4 (or higher) tertiary qualification in project management (Highly Desirable).
- Hold current RegPM accreditation of CPPP (or higher) with the Australian Institute of Project Management (or like accreditation from another recognised project management institute or association) (Desirable).
- Hold a recognised AQF Level 4 (or higher) tertiary qualification in a health and/or infrastructure related field (Desirable).
- Have at least four years recently acquired experience leading, planning, and delivering (including monitoring, controlling, and reporting), client-side projects.
