Your new role:

As an Occupational Therapist within the Logan Adult Wellbeing Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented mental health care to adults experiencing acute distress or at risk of suicide. Working within a supportive interprofessional team, you will provide evidence-based assessment, intervention and care that promotes positive consumer outcomes.

• Deliver comprehensive mental health occupational therapy assessments, brief therapeutic interventions and discharge planning for consumers, their families and carers.
• Manage a diverse caseload, providing evidence-based interventions, facilitating DBT skills-based and occupational therapy groups, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary colleagues and community partners to deliver person-centred, compassionate and timely care.

About you:

You are a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist who is committed to delivering exceptional mental health care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of consumers and their support networks.

• Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA), with the ability to deliver evidence-based, consumer-centred mental health occupational therapy services.
• A collaborative communicator who builds positive relationships with consumers, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes.
• Organised and adaptable, with strong clinical judgement, effective time management skills and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
