Your new role:

As the Manager, Medical Workforce, you'll lead a dedicated team delivering expert medical workforce services while partnering with senior clinical leaders to ensure compliant, efficient and contemporary workforce practices across multiple Metro South Health facilities. You'll play a pivotal role in workforce planning, recruitment, credentialing and continuous service improvement.

In this role you will:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Medical Workforce team.
  • Provide expert advice on medical workforce legislation, recruitment, credentialing and employment matters.
  • Drive workforce planning initiatives and oversee junior and senior medical officer recruitment.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver client-focused services.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, industrial and policy requirements.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and support ongoing service excellence.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, correspondence and workforce advice for executive stakeholders.

You'll be successful by bringing:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of medical workforce management, employment legislation and industrial frameworks.
