About your role
As the Revenue Manager, you will provide strategic leadership across Logan Hospital's revenue services, ensuring efficient, compliant and sustainable revenue management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Revenue and Private Practice team.
- Oversee accounts receivable, patient trust and monthly revenue processes.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, legislative and financial requirements.
- Provide expert advice on revenue, billing and private practice matters.
- Build trusted relationships across clinical, operational and executive teams.
- Develop financial reports, monitor KPIs and analyse revenue trends.
- Lead system enhancements and continuous process improvements.
- Support annual financial reporting and assurance activities.
- Drive accurate billing, debt recovery and revenue reconciliation.
About you
You are a collaborative and strategic leader with extensive experience in financial management and revenue services. You thrive in complex environments, enjoy solving problems, and have the ability to translate legislation and policy into practical business outcomes.
You'll bring:
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing finance or revenue teams.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue management and billing practices.
- Experience interpreting financial legislation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Advanced analytical and financial reporting capabilities.
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience leading organisational change and system improvements.
- High attention to detail and commitment to financial integrity.
- Relevant finance, accounting or business qualifications are highly regarded.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
