About the role

As a Data Analyst within the Health Informatics team, you will play a key role in transforming complex healthcare data into meaningful insights that support clinical, operational and strategic decision-making across the organisation. Working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, you will gather business requirements, develop data solutions, and deliver high-quality dashboards, reports and analytics products that support the integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR) and other clinical information systems.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Develop solutions that build upon collected data to create models that provide deeper insights and / or predictive results.
  • Demonstrate ability to operate independently in the performance of day-to-day duties, solve complex problems and to act with innovation in facing challenges with data.
  • Demonstrate ability to problem solve and be solution orientated.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders in attaining and preparing data for the development, implementation and review of performance reporting.
  • Manage any other duties as directed by leadership.
