About the role
Casual opportunity completing the following duties:
- Processing, collecting and delivering internal and external mail as well as parcels and other items as required across Metro North Hospital and Health Services (MNHHS),
- Collecting urgent specimen collections from various areas of the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) and delivering to the Pathology Department for processing between 0700 – 1500 Monday – Friday
- Undertaking other duties as required in support of service delivery within a multidisciplinary environment
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Sorting of mail for internal and external deliveries to be completed within designated timeframes
- Mail, deliveries and specimen items to be distributed to the appropriate locations on routine and urgent deliveries as required
- Attend to enquiries (face to face, telephone, electronic)
- Other duties as directed
- Comply with and utilise procedures, policies, regulations and standards which impact upon the position including contemporary human resource management requirements and practices, such as workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination policies.
