About your opportunity
In this role, you will lead and manage the delivery of capital works projects within Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS), contributing to infrastructure outcomes that support excellence in healthcare service delivery. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing the delivery of small to large-scale capital works projects in accordance with the Townsville HHS project management methodology.
- Managing the engagement and performance of project consultants and contractors to support the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with project consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders involved in project delivery.
- Leading a multidisciplinary team to ensure project outcomes are achieved and project management capability is maintained.
This is a temporary full-time role, up to 31/12/2028 (with the possibility of extension for an additional 12 months).

- Base salary range: $140,115 to $150,371 p.a. (AO7)
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading

Requirements
Whilst not mandatory, professional registration or membership with an appropriate authority will be well regarded. A qualification in a relevant discipline such as engineering, project management and/or asset or facilities management is also desirable.
