About the work unit / facility:

The Rural Allied Health Western Hub delivers pharmacy services across Charters Towers and surrounding Western communities. Based at Charters Towers Hospital, the service extends its reach through outreach to Hughenden Multipurpose Health Centre (MPHS) and Richmond MPHS.

Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $128,169 to $137,918 p.a. (HP4)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Professional Development and Rural and Remote allowances 
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Join the Rural Allied Health Western Hub as a Senior Pharmacist, bringing your clinical expertise to a rewarding rural practice. You'll deliver high-quality pharmacy services across Charters Towers and Western communities, supporting safe medication use and positive outcomes for consumers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and proof of registration (AHPRA)
  • Possession of a Class C driver's licence.
  • Travel may be requried
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease risk role.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
