Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse within the Emergency Department Mental Health (EDMH) team, you'll provide advanced clinical care to consumers experiencing acute mental health concerns while leading best practice, supporting colleagues and contributing to service improvement in a dynamic 24/7 emergency environment.
- Deliver comprehensive mental health assessments and recovery-focused nursing care.
- Provide clinical leadership, expert decision-making and support to the multidisciplinary team.
- Coordinate complex consumer care, risk management and Mental Health Act 2016 requirements.
- Contribute to education, quality improvement, research and continuous service development.
About you:
You're an experienced Mental Health Registered Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with mental health experience.
- Strong assessment, clinical decision-making and risk management skills.
- Excellent communication and ability to build collaborative multidisciplinary relationships.
- Passion for mentoring others, quality improvement and delivering person-centred care.
