About us:

Welcome to Woorabinda MPH – a place where healthcare meets community, culture and connection.

Located on the traditional lands of the Wadja Wadja make people, Woorabinda is a unique Central Queensland community just 175 km south-west of Rockhampton. Here, you'll be part of a team that provides essential healthcare services to the local community and surrounding rural areas.

With a dedicated team of medical, nursing, allied health, operational and administrative staff, Woorabinda MPHS provides care across multiple facilities, including a hospital and community health facility, residential aged care service, mental health and alcohol and drug service, and a renal dialysis unit.

About the role:

  • Deliver quality nursing care in line with Aged Care and MPHS standards, helping create safe and positive experiences for patients and residents.
  • Work alongside Registered Nurses by supporting care plans, sharing your clinical insights and helping track progress and outcomes.
  • Build meaningful connections through strong communication, therapeutic relationships and a genuine commitment to protecting patient rights.
  • Be part of a multidisciplinary team where collaboration, respect and community connection are at the heart of everything you do.

About you:

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, with a current annual practising certificate.
  • Clinical experience and confidence in Aged Care and/or Rural and Remote nursing environments.
  • A willingness to keep learning, with further study or experience in Rural and Remote Nursing or Aged Care highly valued.
  • The ability to provide safe, person-centred care while working within your scope of practice and supporting the needs of individuals and the wider community.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $91,510 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $38.11 - $40.45 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
