Your new role:

Join our team as a Clinical Nurse – Clinical Facilitator and use your advanced paediatric nursing expertise to lead clinical education, support workforce capability and drive improvements in patient-centred care. This pivotal role provides specialist guidance, coordinates learning initiatives, supports students and graduates, and champions evidence-based practice, research and clinical innovation across the service.

About you:

You are an experienced paediatric nurse and clinical leader who is passionate about developing others, advancing practice and delivering exceptional care for children and their families. You will have: 

  • Demonstrated advanced clinical expertise in acute paediatric nursing practice
  • Proven ability to lead education, simulation and professional development initiatives
  • Strong skills in clinical leadership, problem-solving and evidence-based practice
  • Experience supporting students, graduates and multidisciplinary teams to build capability
  • Commitment to quality improvement, innovation and safe, patient-centred care

Nursing and Midwifery Practice Development Unit (NMPDU)

The Nursing and Midwifery Practice Development Unit (NMPDU) provides strategic and operational leadership in nursing and midwifery education, workforce development and lifelong learning across Metro South Health. The team supports contemporary education programs, professional development pathways and evidence-based practice initiatives to build a skilled, capable and future-ready workforce. Working collaboratively with clinical services, NMPDU promotes a strong learning culture and supports the education and development needs of nurses and midwives across Logan, Beaudesert and Bayside Health Services.
