About the role
Permanent part time opportunity to deliver high quality social work clinical services as part of the multidisciplinary team to patients of the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) Haemophilia Treatment Centre across Metro North hospital and community facilities, and to their families and carers, to optimise the psychosocial outcomes for patients and their families.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver high quality evidence based clinical services in accordance with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Code of Ethics and AASW Professional Practice Standards by assessing complex psychosocial needs of patients, families and caregivers; identifying clinical risk and providing multiple clinical interventions to maximise patient health and psychosocial outcomes.
- Exercise independent professional clinical judgement without the need for direct regular clinical practice supervision.
- Work cooperatively and effectively with patients, their families and caregivers, as a member of a multidisciplinary and social work teams.
- Contribute to the ongoing identification, development and implementation of quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of social work services, patient care.
