Salary

Casual Teacher

$115.33 (gross) per hour

Teacher (full-time equivalent)

$92,930 - $122,084 (gross) per annum (TAFE Queensland Educators’ Certified Agreement 2023).

Mandatory Requirements

Applicants must possess:

• one or more of the qualifications listed below:  
  • MEM31419 Certificate III in Engineering – Fixed and Mobile Plant  
  • AUR30420 – Certificate III in Agricultural Mechanical Technology 
  • AUR31120 Certificate III in Heavey Commercial Vehicle 
  • AUR31220 Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology  

• one of the following training and assessment credentials:

• • TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; 
  • TAE40110 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 Address Adult Language,  Literacy and Numeracy Skills and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools; 
  • TAE50111 - Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; 
  • TAE50116 - Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, or its successor; 
  • TAE50211 - Diploma of Training Design and Development; 
  • TAE50216 - Diploma of Training Design and Development, or its successor; 
  • Higher-level qualification in adult education (approved by TAFE Queensland); 

• current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided; 
• current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided; 
• evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment. 
• current Queensland Driver’s Licence 
• current Blue Card or Exemption Card (or ability to obtain prior to commencement), to comply with the Working with Children Check Act 2000. 

Note: Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience to be provided at interview.

Highly Desirable

 Candidates who possess the following will be highly regarded:

• High level of digital literacy skills across various platforms (online Learning Management Systems).
