About the role

Casual opportunity to provide Medical Imaging clinical services as a member of the multidisciplinary team within the Department of Medical Imaging at Redcliffe Hospital and Brighton Health Campus (BHC). This role will participate as required in the provision of after-hours medical imaging services including night shift as required. While this role requires participation in a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week rotating roster, we also welcome applications from individuals who may be interested in working a permanent night shift pattern.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Deliver high quality medical imaging services within a multidisciplinary team in accordance with professional and ethical standards, department protocols, policies and relevant legislation, including Queensland Health's core values and code of conduct.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers and multidisciplinary team members to support safe, efficient and patient focused care.
  • Contribute to the day to day operation of the Medical Imaging Department through professional practise, teamwork and effective workload management.
  • Participate in quality improvement, protocol review and service development activities within the department.
