The Procurement and Contracts team at Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS) operates as a dedicated internal division responsible for managing commercial arrangements, sourcing goods and services, and ensuring compliance with buying standards. Through effective procurement and contract management, the team supports the delivery of high-quality healthcare services while achieving value for money, maintaining governance requirements, and mitigating organisational risk.

About your role:
In this position you will…..
- Engage with stakeholders and provide advice on procurement processes that comply with the Procurement Policy and Procedures.
- Identify governance requirements, non-compliance and areas for process improvement within procurement processes.
- Develop and support knowledge of suppliers, markets, capabilities and technologies.
