About the role:
- Assist with food preparation, serving, kitchen duties and cleaning to provide safe, nutritious meals.
- Complete routine cleaning across the facility, including staff accommodation, while upholding hygiene and infection control standards.
- Wash, dry and iron linen and resident clothing as required.
- Collaborate with staff, patients and healthcare professionals to support quality care, including safe manual handling.
- Follow workplace health and safety, infection control and quality standards, complete accurate documentation and protect confidentiality.
About you:
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with staff, patients and consumers.
- Work well within a multi-skilled team with a strong commitment to customer service.
- Organise, prioritise and manage time effectively while handling competing tasks.
- Have, or be willing to develop, practical knowledge across cleaning, laundry and cooking services.
- Work towards departmental and organisational standards; Food Safety Standards qualifications are highly regarded.
What we offer:
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $6,504 p.m. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $32.33 - $34.50 p.h.
- An hourly rate between $40.42 - $43.12 p.h. (including 25% casual loading)
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
