About the role
The Midwifery Unit Manager (MUM) is a Registered Midwife who provides advanced clinical leadership, professional governance and operational management within the Midwifery Unit.
This role supports the delivery of safe, high-quality, culturally responsive maternity services through effective coordination of clinical practice, workforce support, quality improvement activities, change management and the application of contemporary midwifery knowledge and best practice.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, the Midwifery Unit Manager contributes to the ongoing growth and development of maternity services across Thursday Island and the wider Torres Strait region.

- Base Salary: $140,632.00 - $152,685.00 per annum
