About the role:
- Supervise, coordinate and support the administration team to deliver efficient, high quality and confidential administrative and secretarial services for the Director of Nursing, Nurse Unit Managers and broader Capricorn Coast Hospital operations.
- Lead the administration function by managing staffing, budgeting, onboarding, training, performance development and compliance activities, while fostering a strong performance culture aligned with organisational requirements.
- Coordinate a broad range of operational administration services, including workforce rostering and payroll processes, stakeholder liaison, records management, procurement, facility support services and customer service delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement across administrative services through audit management, reporting, process review, quality improvement initiatives and effective collaboration with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for Central Queensland Health.
About you:
- You bring proven leadership experience in a busy clinical, multidisciplinary environment, with the ability to supervise, develop, coach and support administrative staff while applying contemporary people management practices.
- You are highly organised and can confidently manage competing priorities, determine work priorities and follow through on commitments while meeting tight deadlines and operational requirements.
- You communicate with confidence, discretion and tact, with strong written and interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of an organisation and with external stakeholders.
- You are highly capable with Microsoft Office, proprietary software and internet applications, with the confidence and adaptability to quickly learn new computer-based systems and processes.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $118,172 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $47.41 - $52.23 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
