The Senior Dentist based in Ingham leads a multidisciplinary oral health team in delivering contemporary public dental services to both adults and children.

This position is well suited to experienced dental practitioners seeking a new challenge and an opportunity to advance their leadership career in a regional setting. An exciting opportunity now exists within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service to take a senior clinical role based in the scenic town of Ingham. The successful applicant will provide hands-on patient care while shaping the future of public oral health services in the region.

Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $158,532 to $170,285 p.a. (DO2)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:

  • Appointment to this position requires possession of a tertiary qualification in dentistry from a recognised institution and current registration with the Dental Board of Australia.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current annual license certificate is mandatory.
  • Possession of a current licence to operate a radiation source for Dental Diagnostic Radiography (intra oral)
  • There is a requirement that all dental practitioners are credentialed and have their scope of clinical practice defined with Qld Health before commencing employment and throughout employment with Qld Health.
  • Travel across the Townsville Hospital and Health Service may be a requirement of this role.
  • Position may require rostering at various locations across Townsville Hospital and Health Services.
