About us:
Medical/Surgical Ward 1 at Gladstone Hospital is a 31-bed inpatient service caring for a diverse mix of patients across medical, surgical, sub-acute, rehabilitation and palliative care. The team is committed to delivering safe, evidence-based care, with ongoing research and proven clinical standards helping to continually improve patient outcomes and the care experience.
About the role:
- Deliver advanced nursing care across a diverse patient mix, including surgical, medical, orthopaedic and sub-acute patients.
- Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse, providing safe, evidence-based care within your ENAS scope of practice.
- Use advanced clinical skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual patient care.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes.
- Keep growing professionally, demonstrating initiative to build your skills from novice through to advanced practice.
About you:
- Hold current EN registration with NMBA/AHPRA.
- Communicate confidently and build strong relationships with patients, families and healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, helping strengthen how care is delivered.
- Prioritise quality, safety and risk, understanding their importance in a busy healthcare environment.
- Take a proactive approach to patient care, recognising and responding to patient needs within the inpatient setting.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $99,978 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $41.64 - $44.19 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
