Join our dedicated multidisciplinary Mental Health Team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals experiencing mental health challenges. In this rewarding role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, case management, therapeutic interventions, and group programs while collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals.

You will play a key role in delivering evidence-based care, supporting treatment planning, coordinating referrals, and ensuring positive client outcomes through ongoing evaluation and follow-up.

Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $114,532 to $122,643 p.a. (Nurse Grade 6 Band 1)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
  • Highly Desirable: Possession of or working towards a relevant post-registration and/or tertiary qualifications in mental health nursing.
  • Highly Desirable: Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) under the Mental Health Act 2016.
  • Ongoing professional development relevant to the delivery of specialist Mental Health Services (MHSG) to maintain appropriate registration and/or association requirements is a requirement of all staff within the MHSG.
  • All staff within the Mental Health Service Group (MHSG) may be required to work in other areas of the Service.
  • Driver Licence: This position requires the applicant to possess an appropriate license to operate a Class C (car) motor vehicle. 
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
