About your opportunity

Fixed Term Temporary part-time, 56 hours per fortnight up to 21.03.2027

The Clinical Nurse will provide leadership in clinical decision making to give and/or coordinate care to particular recipients of healthcare services. Charters Towers Health Service is a 25-bed facility providing integrated acute and primary health care services through a range of programs including: community, child, youth and family, mental health, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and outreach services.

Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $57.76 to $61.85 p.a. (Nurse Grade 6 band 1)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
  • Comprehensively assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care at an advanced level within a complex environment.
  • Use information and reporting systems appropriate to the position in order to achieve outcomes and identify areas for improvement. Provide clinical education and support at an advanced level and demonstrate own professional development.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
