About the role
Several permanent part time opportunities to provide the first point of contact for all callers who wish to access specialised mental health services via 1300 MHCALL, including the gathering of required demographic information, registration of consumers and forwarding of callers who require mental health triage.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide reception duties/initial point of contact for the area ensuring that all telephone enquires are dealt with in a professional, courteous and timely and manner and are directed to the relevant area for assistance or messages given to relevant staff members. This includes the answering of telephones from other unattended workstations.
- Maintain highly functioning and appropriately stocked work area; ordering, tracking and distributing of office and medical supplies as required.
- Provide efficient and effective administrative support for the area including filing, faxing, e-mailing, mail management, word processing, photocopying, ensuring that all printing machines have adequate paper and toner, ensuring clinic rooms/offices are in order and well equipped with daily consumables, organisation of general building and asset maintenance
