Join the Office of the Chief Executive as a Board Support Officer and play an important role in supporting effective governance across Central Queensland Health.
Be part of how decisions are made at the highest level. We are seeking a Board Support Officer (AO4) to support the CQHHS Board and its Committees. This is not a standard administration role. You will work at the centre of the organisation, supporting the coordination, quality, and flow of information that underpins Board and executive decision-making. You will be part of a small, high-performing team in the Office of the Chief Executive, with exposure to complex, organisation-wide matters.

Gain valuable exposure to Board-level decision-making while building your experience in governance and executive support.
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate Board and Committee meetings, including agendas, papers, and minutes
- Support the preparation and quality assurance of relevant materials
- Manage documentation through governance systems
- Liaise with senior executives and stakeholders across the HHS
- Track actions and ensure governance processes and timelines are met.
This role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
About you
Whilst desirable, we are not necessarily looking for extensive governance experience. We are looking for someone who:
- Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in accuracy
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Is curious, proactive, and willing to learn
- Exercises sound judgement and takes ownership of their work.

What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $118,172 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $47.41 - $52.23 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
